Gunstoppable Codes
There is no in-game code redemption — here is what players actually mean when they search for codes.
Gunstoppable does not ship a redeem-code system. There is no Codes menu, no Steam key-in-chat box, and no weekly cosmetic string that grants bolts, orbs, or weapons. CAGE Studios’ momentum roguelite FPS progresses through runs, Kane the Rat shops, permanent upgrades, and challenge orbs — not promotional codes. This page exists because “Gunstoppable codes” is a high-volume search, and the honest answer saves you from fake lists.
If a site promises infinite health, free black-hole guns, or a secret Xbox code that “still works in 2026,” treat it as unrelated junk. Salaar posts official news on Steam and invites feedback on the CAGE Discord. Those channels never use a redemption field.
Why people search for codes
Three different ideas get lumped under the same word:
| What they mean | What actually exists |
|---|---|
| Weekly gift codes (Roblox-style) | Nothing. Gunstoppable is a Steam/Xbox premium game, not a live-service code mill. |
| Demo secret playtest codes | Historical only. Patch 21–22 hid a Fluffy the Crab playtest string until a leaderboard milestone. The public demo was removed at 1.0. |
| Challenge / achievement “codes” | In-run challenge orbs unlock weapons, attachments, and augments. See Challenges. |
The first bucket is a mismatch with how CAGE ships content. The second bucket was a closed demo ritual, not a live economy. The third bucket is real and is the one you should actually play.
Historical demo playtest (not live)
During the public demo, Salaar used Discord and Steam news to gate Fluffy the Giant Robot Crab playtests. Patch 21 framed a leaderboard contest: reach a score threshold, and a secret code would be shared so the community could fight the crab early. Patch 22 then pointed players at Discord for that playtest string.
That workflow is dead for the live game:
- The demo app was taken down when 1.0 launched August 5, 2026 (Launch Notes).
- Fluffy is part of the full campaign — you do not type a string to meet him. Read Robot Crab and Fluffy Prime notes after Patch 29.
- Old screenshots of Discord codes do not grant Steam inventory items.
If you still have a demo-era screenshot, keep it as memorabilia. It will not redeem on app 3724710.
What to use instead of codes
Challenge orbs and unlocks
Failed runs still widen the next build. Challenge orbs and between-run unlocks add weapons, attachments, and augments to the pool. Challenges maps that loop, including the Challenge Accepted Steam achievement and the Patch 29 fix for the hidden Juno trophy.
Kane and meta currency
Spend run-scoped drops at Kane the Rat. Patch 29 added restore health to the Black Market — that is a shop action, not a code. Meta currency after death feeds permanent upgrades.
Official patches, not pastebins
Weapon and boss numbers move through Steam news. After launch, Patch 28 converted life-on-hit into damage-percent life steal and retuned shotgun, rocket, pistol, crossbow, banana-rang, and black hole. Patch 29 retuned Black Hole radius/duration, Crossbow gravity, assassin melee, Vex/Vox, Dusk, and Fluffy Prime. Track those on Patch Notes instead of chasing leaked “OP codes.”
Discord and Steam — the real “code” channel
CAGE’s feedback loop is public:
- Steam news for numbered patches and hotfixes
- discord.gg/cagestudios for playtests, bug reports, and Salaar watching streamers
- No in-client redemption UI
If you want a practical first-hour plan, skip code lists and read Getting Started, How to Play, and Settings so remaps and crosshair behavior match the post-launch hotfixes.
Fake lists and trainers
Third-party “code” pages often mix:
- Cheat Engine tables (memory edits — not supported, and they will desync you from intended combat)
- Expired demo strings
- Codes copied from other games with similar names
This wiki will not host trainer instructions. If a combat number feels wrong, compare your build to Patch Notes first — Patch 29 halved many life-steal percentages while guaranteeing a minimum of 1 health per hit, which looks like a “nerf code” until you read the notes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Gunstoppable questions.
Are there working Gunstoppable codes in 2026?
No. The live Steam and Xbox builds have no redeem-code menu. Ignore weekly-code lists; use challenge orbs, Kane shops, and official patches instead.
What was the Fluffy secret code in the demo?
A Discord/Steam playtest string gated the crab fight during demo Patches 21–22. The demo is gone and the full campaign includes Fluffy without typing a code.
Do challenge orbs count as codes?
No. Challenge orbs are in-run objectives that unlock weapons and mods. See [Challenges](/guides/challenges/) and the Challenge Accepted achievement.
Where does CAGE announce real rewards?
Steam community news and the CAGE Discord. Those posts describe patches and playtests, not alphanumeric redeem strings.
Will Xbox Series get separate codes on August 31?
No official console redeem system has been announced. Check the Microsoft Store listing and [Xbox Series](/guides/xbox-series/) for platform notes.
